The recovery of a garden from neglect
as I looked after my wife, Glen, 'Pippy',

Kippered
I kipperized the neighbourhood this afternoon by burning the last bits of the old shed. Seemed like a good idea at the time...
...but it got very smoky with all that semi-rotten wet wood.
I don't know the name. It is a beauty, though. And the scent pulls me up every time I walk past it (bonfires notwithstanding). It is a little crowed out by other shrubs at the moment, and needs some TLC. Definitely on my to-do list. Thank you for commenting.
A beautiful rose. Do you know the name?
